I'm Nate Waters. I grew up on a blueberry farm in small-town Missouri. Blueberries take three to four years to bear fruit, I learned patience there before I had a word for it.
I've spent my career working in technology, with deep experience in the AI infrastructure that's reshaping how small businesses operate. I've seen which tools survive the hype cycle and which ones disappear in eighteen months, and I've watched too many small business owners get sold solutions they didn't need.
I started Soothrede because the people I most want to help, small-business owners running real operations, deserve plain answers from someone who isn't selling them anything fancy. I take vendor-neutral positions, recommend the right tool for the job regardless of who makes it, and never accept commissions or referral fees from vendors.
I live in Denver. I write under this name. I take on a small number of clients at a time, because slow careful work is the only kind I'm interested in doing.
